This year marks a milestone for our family as we celebrate 50 years in the Kevin 785-243-6397 Sheila 785-262-1116
purebred cattle business. We sold our first bull in the spring of 1976, and Brady 785-614-1645 Lute Judy 641-777-0441
everything that has followed has been made possible by loyal customers,
trusted neighbors, and lifelong cattle friends. To all of you—thank you for your GPS ADDRESS
continued interest and confidence in our program. 275 K-148 HWY, COURTLAND, KS
The cattle business is strong, and we’re optimistic about the years ahead. As
herds rebuild and expand, productivity and efficiency will matter more than ZWT RANCH
ever. That’s where we’ve kept our focus. Wil Mayes 304 619 9327

Our Hereford and Angus sire groups represent what we believe commercial
cattlemen need today: practical performance, sound structure, and carcass webpage with catalog link
merit—without sacrificing maternal strength or sensible mature size. Our WWW.JENSENRANCH.NET
cows are asked to work for a living, just like yours. They run on grass, corn
stalks, and long-stem hay in the winter with protein supplementation, and
they’re expected to milk, breed back, and raise calves with growth.
Once again, we’re pleased to offer females from past bull customers. This
year’s offering includes open Black Baldy and Black yearling heifers, along
with 60 two-year-old Angus females with Black Baldy calves at side—all sired
by Jensen Ranch Hereford bulls.
We believe crossbreeding done right adds pounds at weaning, improves
female productivity, and builds longevity into a herd. Our goal is to help you
reduce replacement costs, keep cows in production longer, and ultimately
add more to your bottom line.
Whether you’re searching for your next purebred herd sire or a set of
commercial bulls that will go to work immediately, we’ve prioritized the traits
and genetics that matter most to our customers.
Life on our end hasn’t slowed down much—grandkids have a way of keeping
things lively, and Sheila and I are enjoying every minute of watching our family
grow. We were also blessed to celebrate our youngest son, Ben, marrying
Michelle this past December. It was a special day, and we’re excited for them
as they begin this next chapter.
We hope you’ll join us on sale day, either in person or online. The sale-day
meal is always a favorite, and we’d love to visit with you. If you want to talk
bulls or need help bidding live, don’t hesitate to call—we’re glad to help.
Here’s to 2026, to healthy families, and to growing, productive cow herds.
Sincerely,The Jensen Family
